I find the thought of a 9-5 until I'm old to be a very depressing way of life. For now, that may be what I and many will have to do but one day I am going to work for myself. It isn't just money, it's the freedom, freedom to work my own hours and days, to take breaks when I want, be able to travel more, and have more of a life.

A 9-5 offers no freedom, I have only a certain amount of days in a whole year to travel and then have to ask permission for it, I am told when I can have a break when I think it should be up to us when that is no? You have bad bosses, managers, co-workers, you either have hours that you always do or unluckily have them change often at a moment's notice, either way, I have little choice in the matter. Also, in most jobs you aren't productive the whole time you are working, every job I've worked has been like that, we have times where we do practically nothing of value but must act busy. I would also work harder for myself than the companies I work for.
